Who are you influencing? Your spouse. Your neighbor. Your sibling. Your kid.

We're radically interdependent. Use that power.

#ICYMI - Action is the path to real power. It might sound simple, but hang with me a second.

This week, Michael Brownstein helps us discover how reorienting personal choices toward collective organizing - not just recycling alone, but organizing neighbors while recycling - is what creates change. 🎙

Despair isn't solved by hoping. It's solved by doing.

Join us with Michael Brownstein to discover why doing anything beats doing nothing – and why doing it with others is what turns action into power.

The greatest hope for change may not be what you think.

Join us with Michael Brownstein to explore why unpredictability is motivating: nobody knew the Temperance Movement would amend the Constitution after a century – until it did. Change could be tomorrow: www.futurehindsight.com/episodes/you...

Real change starts with trying something, seeing what works, then adjusting.

Join us with Michael Brownstein to discover why an experimental mindset – like Zohran Mamdani's "we'll try it. If it works, great. If not, we'll adjust" – opens many possibilities: www.futurehindsight.com/episodes/you...

Stop thinking: "If I recycle this bottle, how much CO2 did I save?"

Start thinking: "If my coworker sees me go out of my way to recycle, what conversation might that spark?"

Your choices matter less for their material impact and more for their social signal.

There’s a constant swirl of complaints out there, especially on social media. But most of these complainers are passive bystanders. …is that you?

No action = No change! Tune in to discover how you can reorient your choices to create real systemic change: www.futurehindsight.com/episodes/you...

Real change isn't about being perfect as an individual. No amount of separating your recyclables can solve the climate crisis.

Really, it's about using your personal choices to build collective power! Would you like to know how? 🧵(1/3)

The most persuasive voice in your life isn't a podcast host or Twitter account.

It's your neighbor. Your friend from high school. Your uncle at Thanksgiving.

So, start building actual human networks. Go to a game. Have a barbecue.

Coalition building isn't digital. It's showing up in person.

#ICYMI - Affordability is how Democrats win.

Tune in with Rick Wilson to see how Mamdani in NYC, Spanberger in Virginia, and Sherrill in New Jersey all won by talking about rent, transit, electricity – not culture wars or luxury issues.
December 16, 2025 at 6:03 PM
Republicans never go off message, but Democrats can't pick one and stick to it.

Join us with Rick Wilson of Project Lincoln to learn why message discipline is a Republican superpower — and how Democrats waste precious campaign days on issues polling at 1%: www.futurehindsight.com/episodes/on-...
December 15, 2025 at 6:04 PM
Culture war ads target one audience: middle America voters who can be scared into believing "they're coming for your jobs."

Learn why winning means saying "I care about 150,000 unemployed people in Northern Virginia" – and moving to economic terrain: www.futurehindsight.com/episodes/on-...

Are Democrats blocking their own wins? Time to face reality.

Join us with Rick Wilson to discover why policy papers and culture war debates aren't enough anymore – we need message discipline on the economy to win elections.

62% of voters say inflation, prices, economy, and jobs matter most.

Climate change? 4%. DEI? 1%.

Those issues are not unimportant. But they don't win elections.

Democrats need to run on what voters actually say they need.

340 days until the next election. Just sayin’.

On Being Pro-Democracy: Rick Wilson — Future Hindsight
We discuss how being pro-democracy is a big tent coalition. In fact, it is our national identity.

December 12, 2025 at 8:01 PM
Our democracy operates with one party that's great at winning elections by exploiting fear and another party that confuses good policy papers with persuading voters.

This week, you’re in for a revealing conversation about what building pro-democracy power looks like... 🧵(1/3)

Union membership went from 30% to 6% in the private sector since Reagan.

Meanwhile in Canada it's 30%. Northern Europe even higher.

Guess which countries have workers earning decent wages with stable jobs and real bargaining power?

We can STILL choose differently.

The biggest threat to democracy isn't foreign interference. It's elected leaders who dismantle it from within.

So, how do we push back? Through organizing, resistance, and pressure on elite actors, we defend the institutions that make freedom possible: www.futurehindsight.com/episodes/equ...

$50 billion stolen from workers every year through wage theft.

Tips withheld. Overtime unpaid. Less than minimum wage.

Meanwhile, only 600 labor inspectors exist for 165 million workers.

The laws are on the books. We just stopped enforcing them.
