All I can say is read the book it's based on - Box Hill. #Pillion is so far removed from it, which is a major disappointment. It plays a gay BDSM relationship for laughs and like a generic hetero-fairytale. But worst of all it lacks authenticity and instead presents a toxic, abusive relationship 2/5

All I can say is read the book it's based on - Box Hill. #Pillion is so far removed from it, which is a major disappointment. Just watched @runningmanmovie.com 🏃🏻 It's a good 30 mins too long, the script is ropey at times and it's not satirical or comical enough BUT I still enjoyed it. It's a big, daft popcorn movie that has some decent set pieces and a fun central performance by #GlenPowell. It's a 3.5/5 from me!

While technically an achievement, I can't be the only one that thinks this looks downright creepy!? Even if they've based his look on the early sketches of #Paddington, could they not have softened his features a little bit? It's like a constant uncanny valley moment...

Once got past the fact it's camp gothic, rather than dark gothic I really enjoyed it. #JacobElordi is excellent as The Monster, the cinematography is sumptuous and it's a (relatively) faithful adaptation of the original novel. Worth seeing at the cinema!

Just watched #GuillermodelToro #Frankenstein. Once got past the fact it's camp gothic, rather than dark gothic I really enjoyed it. #JacobElordi is excellent as The Monster, the cinematography is sumptuous and it's a (relatively) faithful adaptation of the original novel. Halfway through the @legoofficial #LegoIdeas #Gizmo build. Definitely getting #Grogu build vibes... Complex internal structure, many small parts and still not sure how articulation of his arms will work exactly!?! However, I think it's going to look great once complete.

Finished in less than 24hrs. Even though not the target demographic, I'm a fan of the #Uncannypodcast and I enjoyed @dannyrobins.bsky.social 'Into The Uncanny' book. It's really well done for the age group and it took me right back to my childhood reminding me of Usborne book 'Ghosts' and the like!
