The British Comedy Guide is hosting the fifth Big Comedy Conference in a new, expanded two-day format bringing upcoming comedy creatives up-close and personal with leading industry professionals.

Funny Women talk to Nina Conti about her quirky directorial debut 'Sunlight', A hilariously dark and unconventional love story, following two people on the edge of life who find purpose and romance through an unlikely connection, escaping the darkness in search of some sunlight.

Co-written by Nina Conti and Shenoah Allen, the script was simultaneously punchy, funny, tragic, and bizarre. The chemistry between Conti and Allen as comedians, creatives, and co-leads was electric.

We’re committed to building the next generation of comedic talent and our brilliant Comedy Crash Course is an accessible and inclusive fast-track towards performing, writing and creating comedy.  Featuring an hour a day of expert coaching and guidance from brilliant industry experts and an opportunity to perform in an online showcase at the end of the week. Facilitators TBC Daily workshops are held on Zoom, from 12.00pm to 1.00pm Monday to Thursday and recorded should you miss a day. All times, UK times! Culminating in a live online showcase on Friday, where you'll perform or present your pitch and receive invaluable feedback from facilitators and peers.
