I mean even just an ipad with recreate and a stylus (if you cant afford an apple pencil) is better than trying to use a graphics tablet. I probably should've mentioned procreate but I forgot to just bc I personally don't really like it. But that's a taste thing.

Same thing applies to digital art. I promise that a graphics tablet is a much higher learning curve than a display. You don't need a fancy computer, but please just save for an XP-Pen,(and not a sketchy mystery brand, go with a reliable one with good reviews.) It doesn't have to be big, either.
Advice for watercolor beginners: Please start with good supplies. If you are financially limited, paints and brushes can wait but be sure to invest in good paper. 100% cotton, ideally Arches. I struggled a lot at first but when I switched to good paper 80% of my problems were solved. I'm not joking.

always feels like I'm never meant to consider that there was a writers room that made all the decisions for the characters. When that's the bulk of my criticism, that the writing as ineffective in what it aimed to do for me and many others.

While I do think your liking of it is fair, no judgement, it's just a movie, I think sometimes my exact issue with it is how often people handwave any criticism of his character with "he's a wolf" when he does not share that experience with the writers of the film in the literal sense that I am
