Tried on the most talked about Frederic Malle fragrance- Portrait of a Lady and it reminded me of Rose Roche by Diptyque.
RR is lighter than PoAL but if you like one you will probably like the other.
Both are right up my alley but I prefer RR, maybe because it has lemon.

Learned that a bottle of Byredo extrait (more concentrated) is over $600 Canadian but is more affordable in other forms like at Sephora but won’t last as long.
Overall a lot of the scents are good for layering but a lot of them smelled like other fragrances, at least to me.

Inflorescence is really floral and recommended if you like Jasmine, Lily and Rose.

Black Saffron- pungent then pleasant but still not for me. Maybe Saffron doesn’t like my skin, idk.
De Los Santos- unpleasant at first like a campfire gone wrong (sage doesn’t sit well on me as a fragrance I guess) then settled into a soapy smell.

Rouge Chaotique- top note too plum heavy for me. The base notes smelled nice- lasted about 5 hours.
Alto Astral- loved this on me. It smelled like fresh coconut but only lasted about 3 hours. Will be a nice choice for warmer weather.

Mumbai Noise another 80’sesque call back to a spicy scent. Apparently the top note, Davana, is used in aromatherapy and is calming.
Young Rose is refreshing, subtle and surprisingly long lasting (on me).
