"If you think you're too small to make a difference, try going to bed with a mosquito", painted in 2018.

Yes those are ORANGE feet, if you get my drift.

This quote has been attributed to African proverbs, the Dali Lama, and Dame Anita Roddick.

Acrylic housepaint on recycled dropcloth.

Not glass, just one of my favorite ceramic artists to follow.
Anyone else have trouble titling their work? I’ve taken to naming similar shaped pieces together from a list. My hemispherical wall pieces are all named after natural satellites in the solar system.
This one is ELARA-a moon of Jupiter.

The Great Mental Models v4: Economics and Art-

The audience is the invisible participant in every work of art. They are the eyes that see, the ears that hear, the minds that interpret. Without an audience, art is like a tree falling in an empty forest— it may make a sound, but does it matter?

This long exposure infrared image was made on Moccasin Creek in Rabun County Georgia. I used a full spectrum Nikon D750 with a Nikkor 17-35mm f2.8 lens and a 720nm filter. Processed in Lightroom.

Get out there.

This is the first shoe I made after I decided to begin the project Shoes as Storytellers in 2021.

When I first made it, the sock was solid across the top, it was a bit creepy, like a bone. So I trimmed it off.

See more shoes and read the stories that inspired them on my website, funkydori.com

Freeze eggs for up to 1 year

A standard ice cube tray should hold one cracked egg per slot. Sprinkle a pinch of salt over each cracked egg, cover the tray securely with plastic wrap, and stash in your freezer on a flat surface until they are frozen solid.
