Oh, and I have ADHD.
It’s been two years since it was below zero Fahrenheit where I live With windchills in the negative teens. I definitely have gotten complacent and don’t have any real winter gloves etc that are meant for this weather. Glad I can stay home tomorrow.

Sometimes I forget that I pretty much never left my house for the first couple years of the pandemic. I was happy to social distance but I think I took it too far. Not great for my mental health.

I’m a little confused as to why everybody seems to be under the impression that Trump is ending work from home for everybody when it’s just for the federal government? I still think it sucks but he’s not applying it to most of our jobs.

If you have flights on Southwest in the next few months check today/tomorrow for lower fares. Just got $25 back and $80 back on two different trips. Could have gotten more, but I went with a higher fare level to maximize points towards a companion pass.

The College is closed Tuesday and Wednesday for extreme temperatures! I have a ton of prep to do for my classes starting next week, but I don’t have to go in!

Day off from work- and I’m taking the week off from Meta platforms. So far today I’ve had groceries delivered and fielded a question from a colleague about our new LMS. So guess I’m still working.

I’ve been reading books to consider for next year’s common read at our college. One on climate change and one about asylum seekers. They’re both good books. However, they’re both incredibly sad and I don’t know that I have the emotional capacity to teach either of them.
