Error-corrected sequencing detects ultra-rare mutations, comparing multiple reads from both strands of an original DNA molecule and filtering away the noise. Used to study mutagenicity, chemical exposure, and disease mechanisms, until now analysis methods were fragmented across labs or proprietary.

Proud to share that our own Clint Valentine co-authored MutSeqR, an open-source R package for analyzing error-corrected sequencing (ECS) data.
Developed with Health Canada & U Ottawa, it helps bring consistency to genetic safety research.
