I don't know where this is going to go, but I'm here. Let me tell you about the book I read today.
Tore through Alchemised in 3 days. Honestly was a great book overall, and pretty honest tw warnings. Personal gripes aside, this was very well written and a very fun read.

If you didnt know Alchemised was originally a draco/hermione fanfic, I think you'd absolutely love this book. But once u know how it started its obvious in the text. That sucks a lot. I wish these characters had been changed more. I wish it wasn't so obvious

I've started reading the Dresden Files and so far so good! An awkward Wizard Detective, magical orgy murder, vampires and mob bosses and fae and honestly there's just a lot to love here. I will definitely be reading more of this series soon.

Making it a goal to go to as many library craft events as I can this year. Today I got to make some mini acrylic paintings.

Yesterday I read Open Throat by Henry Hoke and it was a delight from the first page. Writing from the point of view of a lion observing humanity, Hoke made even mundane things interesting and thought provoking. It's not as queer and philosophical as it's summary suggests, but I enjoyed it. #booksky

Read The Divine Farce a few days ago, it was quite interesting. I'd read it's meant to be commentary on the human ability to persevere and find meaning in life, but I found it more of a "the grass is always greener somewhere else," situation. A very thoughtful horror book. #booksky
