I don’t think ease of design is the only reason a lot of devs choose to go 2D. It certainly is cheaper, but a solid lot, myself included, do also just prefer the feel of 2D games :>
Besides, every field is saturated as hell, trying to come up with something unique is half the fun of art imo

I am so unbelievably happy right now. Life is so fucking beautiful. Escaping depression over the past few weeks after years and years of its affliction is so amazing. I actually have motivation to live and converse and shit Instead of just making myself “because I have to”.
