As someone raised Christian, but now self-identifying as agnostic, I’m relearning how to pray. I believe in a god, but one who can’t intervene in our lives. A god who can hear me, but can’t change my circumstances. It’s hard shifting my prayers from asking to simply seeking comfort

Someone on a call said they heard I was expecting. Naturally it didn’t even occur to me that anyone would ever think I’d be with child, so I said “expecting what?” Did they mistake me for someone else? Who is their source? 🤣😭

Today has been such a good day at work. Got to talk to some coworkers that I don’t work closely with - one is a big reader like me and the other loves k-pop and anime. In midst of all this political chaos, it’s just been really nice to smile 😊

At 34, I feel like I make friends the same way I did at 4 - I talk to someone and if they give off good vibes I just say “we’re friends now.” I don’t even give them the chance to object, I just assume they’re on board

Leaving Christianity & embracing Agnosticism has been a years-long struggle against doubt & worry, but ultimately, such a freeing experience. I have my own spiritual space to believe or question. I believe in my own reality & my own experience. And my concept of God is good. It’s peaceful here
