We are a small group of local residents who care for the well-being of Pymmes Park and welcomes anyone who cares about it to join us. Please DM us if you’d like to volunteer and help look after this special place which truly deserves special attention.
@environmentagency.blog.gov.uk.web.brid.gy this filthy boom was placed at the catchpit where the Thames Water Denton Rd. drain empties into Pymmes Lake and has not been cleaned out for years. Clean booms need to replace the dirty ones and pollution need to be suctioned out. Agreed? Please!!!

@thameswater.bsky.social
When we last contacted you on the other platform you said you’d do something about removing the filthy booms in Pymmes Lake - that never happened. Please remove and replace with clean ones ASAP! Thank you.

Passing through the courtyard of St Paul’s yesterday, they had this A board to dissuade possible litterbugs! Brilliant! 👍🤣 (its a real mirror with text on it) #litter

Thanks to a couple of our volunteers for litter picking in Pymmes Park today three bin bags full of cans, plastic bottles and other rubbish. All stuff that could have easily been thrown into one of the many litter bins around the park by the people who brought them there. 🙄

We’ve bought two hoops and a nice litter picker tool to remove rubbish in the park. If anyone who lives near Pymmes Park would like to help remove some of the vast amount of rubbish in the park, please feel free to. Send us your photos of before and after. Thanks very much!

Pymmes Park is beautiful even though most of trees have lost their leaves. 🍁

We’d appreciate it if everyone who visits our special park would take their rubbish with them.

One of the things we do to look after the park is to pick up rubbish people have left behind. It’d be nice if we didn’t have to. Can you help?

The Wetlands at Pymmes Park is in need of maintenance. It’s a bit like a sheep that hasn’t been shorn for way too long. Help us @thames21.bsky.social please 🙏

During this time of the year, when it starts getting so cold, birds need to eat more because they require more energy to stay warm and food is scarce. So we feed them regularly. We bring swan and duck feed, which floats on the water and wheat grain bought from St Lawrence Farm. #feedthebirds 🙏

Egyptian Geese at the Pymmes Park amphitheater area! #londonpark

We contacted #Thameswater to ask them to investigate and replace the now filthy booms they installed at Pymmes Lake last year where their drain flows through to mitigate the pollution that goes into the water and they said they found nothing wrong. 🙈 #environment_agency #enfieldcouncil c’mon…

We created a special presentation for #enfieldcouncil to try to get their attention regarding issues that need to be addressed. We feel Pymmes Park in Upper Edmonton deserves special attention. Have a look and let us know what you think. #pymmespark #saveourlondonparks
