St. Anthony Shrine celebrated Faith & Blue Week with a special Mass honoring partnership between the Boston Police and the faith community. About 30 officers attended, including the commissioner. Later, Br. Tom Conway, OFM, received a certificate of appreciation for his service.

Fr. Ignatius Smith, OFM, 94, passed away on Aug. 14, 2025, at Teresian House in Albany, New York. During his 74 years as a friar, Fr. Ignatius served as a missionary in Brazil, as a U.S. Navy chaplain, and as a pastor of parishes in NY and South Carolina. bit.ly/4mibuge
