I'm busy relaxing in Maio, Cabo Verde, escaping Brexit and travel difficulties. Nothing could be finer. This afternoon our national football team are playing Eswatini and hopefully will clinch a place in the 2026 world cup today.

Some wealthy people have chosen to live in hotels. Is that now illegal? If migrants were switched between hotels every month would that fulfil planning requirements?

Bluesky is rightly trying to address the issue of hundreds of fundraising scams using Gaza as a pull. May not be perfect but scale of scams has been out of control

I went into a French supermarket today. I noticed that all the boxes of Israeli dates had been punctured and that someone had left an open bottle of vinegar on the display of Israel mangos. Does this sort of thing happen in the UK too
