Much faster than yesterday (11min3s) 🏃👍
But, you used 3 more moves 🙃😜

Have a good Sunday! 🥰

You’re welcome! Thanks for letting me know the issue was affecting you too. Have a great Sunday! 🫶😊

Issue was related to the `overscroll-behavior` CSS property.
`contain` was used, and works on most browsers. But for WebKit (Apple engine), `none` has to be set instead. Bad side-effect: that makes scrolling less smooth. No big deal in our case. #webdev
Danke @matuzo.at, your blog led me to the fix!

Interesting idea! ♥️🃏 Thanks, that was an inspiring read 👍
January 18, 2026 at 12:14 PM
Pretty good! 🎊
Deal #250410 has been played 47 times in hard (turn three) mode. Least moves is 104, best time 1min36s (which is very fast!)
Still, you’re slightly above average on this one 👍👏
Bon dimanche ! 🤗

This has been fixed 🐛🔫
Pull-to-refresh is now disabled on iOS 🍏👌
Thanks again @ru12bseen.com (& @mumsintheattic.bsky.social) for the bug report! ♥️
Game creator req: on iPhone, when playing the game in a browser, accidentally pulling the screen down refreshes the game and starts it over. Can that be fixed?

Hello Tania!
You were faster than average, which for that deal is 4min37s 🍾
However, when it comes to moves, you were not: the average is 117 😬
Still, a good score! 😉👍 Bon week-end ! 🤗

Issue №299 (deal #56567) is also a #PuzzlingDeck (unsolvable by our not-so-smart algorithm)!

That Germans are good problem solvers is well-known; it’s good to see Canucks entering the stage 🍁⚔️🥨 😜
Note that this deal is _not_ finishable by the computer, so it’s also a #PuzzlingDeck 🥵
The Germans, first-class problem solvers! 💯🧠🇩🇪🏆😀

Oh, so you know very well 😉👌I suppose it’s even worse in the medical world, where there are very old devices in use! 😑😵‍💫

(Btw, small pride: freesolitaire.win still works on Internet Explorer! v11; doesn’t go any older than this; would be quite overkill in the case of a game.)

Happy weekend again! 🥰
January 16, 2026 at 6:10 PM
Excellent! 🥳 I’m glad 😌
Thank you very much, once again, for letting me know about that bug 🙇 It’s hard to get behavior right on every device/OS/browser, because it’s hard just to _know_ about them sometimes. So reporting issues (and/or suggestions!) helps a lot 👍
Have a great weekend! 🫶♥️

(Also: could be a caching issue. Even after a reload, you could still be on the old version of the game. Try in a private browsing window; if bug fixed in it, it’ll end up fixed in normal browsing after a few hours, when the app gets a chance to download and apply the new code.)
January 16, 2026 at 4:11 PM
Hmm, thanks for letting me know (💯 @ video!), sorry it’s still misbehaving for you 😑
I’ll think abt it but, indeed, I may let it be that way; again, messing with scrolling is bad, and on Safari pull-to-refresh is, most probably, actually fixed.
Consider the “add it to homescreen” option I mentioned.
January 16, 2026 at 4:01 PM
About that bug:
This should now be fixed. Please let me know if it works for you. You may have to (force) refresh to get the update.

Device I got only had Safari. But given that, on iOS, all 3rd-party browsers have to use Safari engine (WebKit), the fix should work on Chrome iOS too.

January 16, 2026 at 2:24 PM
4min28s is indeed pretty good! 👍🎊
Average for that deal (#319401, played 40 times in turn one), is 5min. Average of all recorded games in turn one is… the same (4:59, precisely).

Best time recorded for that deal is 2:17, but the player used 130 moves. Least moves is 126 (by two different players).
