For the first time I am hyped for a Storybook release. Storybook 9 beta just dropped.

My favorite announcement is the reduction in bundle size 😆 but I want to try the built-in tests, asserts and coverage

anyone tried it already ?

Hey @vercel.com, I waited 8 months to upgrade to ESLint 9, only to find out the vercel style guide repo got archived. Any recommendations for an alternative?

Discovered another sync engine today: @zero.rocicorp.dev . Looks promising with built-in permissions handling, migration, partial sync. But with so many contenders like Jazz Tools, Electric SQL, DXOS, etc., it's hard to pick the right one. Anyone using these? Thoughts?

Just finished watching « The Playlist », based on Spotify’s startup story. My favorite episode is the one where they dive into Spotify’s architecture. But why did they say they’re going to ‘fork TCP’? Just say UDP, god damn it! Other than that, haha, great show

I came across Effector, an impressive reactive state manager for frontend and backend. Its focus on domain and business logic helps build predictable, scalable apps with clean state management. Worth checking out 👉 effector.dev

Check out this awesome animated example of one of the most common creational design patterns in #JavaScript! Got similar illustrations of other design patterns? Drop them below!
Tests are often crippled with irrelevant details, especially when written on legacy code

The Builder Pattern is one easy way to reduce noise 🧱

A fluent API to build just what you need. Good opportunity to highlight high-level concepts.

I wish the petition to #FreeJavaScript works. If it does, could this mean the end of the EcmaScript name? 🤔
deno.land Deno @deno.land · Nov 25
It's done. Now it’s your turn, Oracle.

We’ve submitted a formal petition to cancel the JavaScript trademark: it is generic, Oracle has abandoned it, and Oracle committed fraud on the USPTO during the last trademark renewal.

It's time to #FreeJavaScript.

Deno v. Oracle: Canceling the JavaScript Trademark
Oracle is holding the JavaScript trademark hostage, and we’re pursuing legal means to #FreeJavaScript. Here’s a brief update.

Tried the Sky Followers Bridge chrome extension and noticed it added some people I wasn’t following. Using automation definitely helps me find content and people to interact with faster, but… not always the ones I expected! 😅

Hello, world! It seems like many Frontend and Node.js influencers are migrating to @bsky.app ... but most importantly, the React prophet himself, @danabra.mov, has left X. Naturally, here I am too 🙌
