I was grateful to volunteer this morning with Mission of Mercy to distribute food to those in need. With over 20 dedicated volunteers working together to sort and bag food, it was lovely to see the Frederick County community come together to support our neighbors!

I had a fantastic time attending the West Frederick Library community meeting! I heard everyone's insights on the design, emphasizing the importance of creating a cohesive space that effectively balances areas for children, computer access, and dedicated spaces for older adults.

I enjoyed teaming up with Asbury UMC and Helping Hearts and Caring Hearts to distribute over 600 Thanksgiving turkeys and dinner kits to our neighbors! I was grateful to be joined by more than 15 volunteers who are committed to uplifting Frederick County. It was a wonderful display of community!

Loved attending the Frederick Center's FASHIONABLY LATE Grand Opening! A little over a year after their move to the new building, they are officially opening their LGBTQ+ community center to the public! During these times of intense hatred, it is so important to have positive spaces like this.

I am announcing upcoming changes to Frederick County's New Jobs Tax Credit program to the County Council. It provides tax credits to businesses that construct/expand by at least 5,000 square feet in a priority funding area and will need to pay at least the average wage to qualify for the tax credit.
