RWJBarnabas and the Murphy administration rushed a public hearing on their plan to close Monmouth Medical Center hospital in Long Branch without the legally required notice. They’ve now POSTPONED that hearing.

NJ Republicans are seeing the writing on the wall—we’re RUNNING OUT OF TIME to prevent millions of Americans from becoming uninsured.

The difference is that House Democrats are working to improve your access to affordable care. Van Drew and Republicans have no concrete plan: (cont in reply...)

Glad to see @StateDept finally recognizing Putin for what he is: a bad faith negotiator and the aggressor. He deserves nothing but the strongest condemnation and punishment from the United States for his war of aggression on Ukraine.

Now we need Trump to back this up with the (cont in reply...)

It's DAY 22 of the REPUBLICAN RETREAT.

House Republicans STILL refuse to meet and STILL refuse to make your health care more affordable, even though people are getting letters about their premiums soaring and face record high costs while shopping for insurance.

The Republican Shutdown is leaving THOUSANDS of public servants tirelessly working for the American people without a pay check. It's outrageous, and it's all because Republicans would rather strip health care from millions of working people than fund the government.

Hurricane Erin wiped out half the sand in Monmouth Beach and left Shore towns scrambling to rebuild ramps and dunes before Labor Day. This is why the gutting of Army Corps beach funding by Republicans is so dangerous—slashing it from $200 Million to just $60 Million (a 70% (cont in image...)

Read this op-ed by a Republican mom who doesn't pull any punches. Medicaid keeps her disabled 4-year-old son, David, alive—covering his surgeries, therapies, adaptive equipment, medical supplies, respite care, and even letting her be paid to care for him at home. Trump & (cont in image...)

If your administration really cared about making our cities safer, they wouldn't have proposed cutting funding for police officers and first responder training in communities across the country. You're all bark and absolutely no bite.

Trump is only letting UCLA restart lifesaving research if they pony up $1 billion for the administration. It's the latest episode in this administration's attempts to extort our nation's universities for political gain. Not only is it highway robbery from students and faculty, (cont in image...)

Alina Habba's appointment as U.S. Attorney by President Trump flew in the face of precedent and was carried out with no regard to the separation of powers that forms the foundation of our democracy. Today's ruling confirms what we all know—the president is not a king, and he (cont in reply...)

Trump can’t just rewrite the law to keep his political pick in power. Congress set a 120-day limit on interim U.S. Attorneys for a reason — to stop exactly this kind of end-run around the Senate and the courts. I joined a bipartisan brief to defend that law and the separation of (cont in reply...)
