Playing Okami is like reading a children's book. So captivating and mesmerising. The only weird thing is the plot structure, cuz it's formatted into arcs, and these arcs are so self contained that jumping to the next one feels like a wiplash, but the game is just too good lmao

I'm not a zombie guy, never have been, and don't think I ever will, but the Dying Light series has been the most fun I've had with the genre. Just unbashfully arcadey first person fun, from the combat and platforming, and I hope Techland banks on this philosophy in future games.

I finished Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales, and it's an incredible tale, only marred down by repetitive gameplay, still worth experiencing tho, the writing is really sharp and Queen Meve quickly became one of my newest favourite protagonists in the series

2h in, and Planet of Lana is very beautiful, I think it's the closest a cinematic platformer has been close to matching the quality of Playdead's outings and in some ways it also pays homage to classics such as Another World, can't wait to see how this journey ends

Going from Monster Hunter World to Rise has been a whiplash. Those long and arduous battles I've faced now feel more fast and arcadey. Part of it are my skills improving from learning attack patterns, but even though it's weird to get adjusted to this change, I'm loving it
