Our veterans risked everything for us; we owe them more than broken promises.

60 years ago, the Voting Rights Act became law with overwhelming bipartisan support. It opened the doors of democracy to millions.

Today, we are seeing that the right to democracy is not guaranteed. As some try to drag us backward, we'll keep pushing forward.

They’re not hiding it anymore.

Republicans want to hand Social Security over to Wall Street and betray the promise Americans pay into their whole lives.

So much for keeping their word.

Medicare and Medicaid turn 60 today.

They help millions of Americans, including around 500,000 in Palm Beach County, get the health care they need.

These programs are a promise that Republicans are trying to break, but @housedemocrats.bsky.social will always fight to protect.

House Republicans and the Trump administration are cutting funding for Sesame Street--a show that’s taught generations of children about kindness, empathy, and friendship. Maybe they should’ve tuned in!

Our kids deserve better.

This bill doesn’t just reduce funding—it marks a dangerous turn toward indifference, isolation, and the betrayal of our global responsibilities.

It heads to the House today, where I'll be speaking out against it.

Too many troubling stories have come out about women in ICE and CBP custody, including pregnant women denied maternal health care.

I've joined @demwomencaucus.bsky.social to demand that the Dept. of Homeland Security investigate the abuse and medical neglect of women in their custody.

Trump promised to lower costs, but his first 6 months have done the opposite.

Trump’s Tariffs are raising prices, hurting workers and businesses. And Republicans’ Big Ugly Law will drive up health care, grocery, and energy costs even more.

Americans deserve better.

3 years since Trump's supreme court overturned Roe, and Florida's 6-week abortion ban continues putting women's lives at risk.

Women, not politicians or judges, should be free to make their own health care decisions.

With Florida home to the largest diaspora of Cubans, Haitians, Nicaraguans, and Venezuelans, the Trump Administration’s decision to end the humanitarian parole program is a slap in the face to thousands of families seeking freedom from violence and authoritarianism.

When America retreats from the world, China and Russia fill that void.

The cuts to U.S. foreign assistance in Trump’s recissions package undercut key American national security interests and risk our country’s safety and prosperity.

As antisemitism continues to rage, I'm proud to have led the effort in Congress to rename the Delray Post Office after Ben Ferencz, who was the last living prosecutor from the Nuremberg trials.
