I realised that I have only posted on the other place 6 times this year and hardly ever check it, it would be lovely to reconnect with all the library people in a more pleasant social media space. So I am dipping my toe in here.

Given Bluesky's increasing success & features (and Twitter's increasingly poor leadership), we at CILIP - the library and information association - are going to be growing our activity on here, so please give @cilip.bsky.social a follow and watch this space... #FactsMatter #LibrariesChangeLives

The BBC is supporting #publiclibraries inc Radio4 Today 08:23, keeping challenges in the news is positive. Concerning that volunteer run libraries are promoted as providing a wider breadth of services, all libraries do this! Thanks @richove.bsky.social for your advocacy www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/...
