To the movies, to good movies 📽️ - and in the fall, the Dallas Cowboys and the Florida Gators 🏉
Happy Thanksgiving to me! The Cowboys have a chance.

It’s disgraceful, but unfortunately not surprising Jerry hasn’t given Micah his extension. I’d hoped the old man learned his lesson last year from the drama with CeeDee and Dak.

Trading Micah would be comparable to the Mavs trading Luka. I might have to stop watching the Cowboys if that happens.

I watched 7 movies over July 4th weekend: one classic masterpiece, two other good classics, two entertaining but not good contemporary movies, one bad contemporary movie I didn’t care much for, and one bad new movie I absolutely hated.

In the movie restaurant of life, I had the tasting menu.🍴

“You think he’s gone?? HE’S NEVER GONE!!!”

I haven’t thought about this classic in a while

Sinners, which I think is overrated. Nothing else.
Which of Letterboxd’s highest rated films of 2025 so far have you seen? 🍿

Been a fan of Imogen Poots since seeing her in Solitary Man, but I love her taste in movies too 🍿

Stewart’s directorial debut The Chronology of Water, starring Poots, premiered in the Un Certain Regard selection at Cannes Film Festival.

Part of me wants to rejoice about WBD’s continued downfall, but it’s another sign of the self-inflicted implosion of the industry I used to love. 🥺

My Orlando Magic are out of the playoffs in the first round again after going down to the Celtics 4-1.

With Banchero and Franz Wagner, they’ve got their stars in place. But they’re the worst 3-point shooting team in the league. Gotta address that to make a deep run next year.

The Carolina Panthers traded away Jonathan Mingo and drafted Tet McMillan. The Dallas Cowboys traded for Jonathan Mingo and didn’t draft a wide receiver.

Which QB will be happier with their team’s moves? 🤔
