I'm hoping the Democrats and some Republicans are getting ready to take over the government. I really want to see the military or federal marshals take this administration out of the buildings in handcuffs.

PORTLAND...it's a party in Portland. There are no fires nor violence. The protestors are respecting the barriers and line in the street in front of the driveway to ICE. More 'frog' blowup costumes are arriving each day. Did you know a bunch of frogs is called an 'army'? It's a party in the street!

I helped persuade Democrats for the shutdown and still don't regret it. I sure hope they hang in there. I really regret all the furloughed employees, but we just don't know what 47 will do from one moment to the next.

Yesterday I saw in a couple different places that our next month's SS might be late. So I called our bank, because all bills are automatically withdrawn on due dates. My concern was 'overdraft fees'. Their response..."no contingency". But those fees could be refunded, if it occurs. Hmmm...

Racking my brain over this. I've been calling to voice my concerns to my Senators and Representative. But it looks like SCOTUS might be involved real soon. It doesn't appear there are phone numbers or emails I can use to message them. Any ideas?

Worried! I just read "the market tanked this morning". What does that mean? We're in our 80s. My guy already has some issues that may require extra help or long term care, which we'll have to pay for.

ICE...have they gone into the large factories with refugee workers...Tyson for instance? Have they targeted the billionaires homes with cooks, housekeepers, nannies, and yardworkers, who are refugees? I seem to remember the felon's homes have them. An inquiring mind wants to know.

Under Biden’s administration we paid $126 for my guy's meds the first week of January. The next time we order his meds the bill will be around $700. That changed after the FOTUS's inauguration. The disabled, low income folks and seniors are going to hurt monetarily.
