I've been buying old crafting books on ebay (this one is printed 1982 after a 1913 first edition), it has Gothic font and these AMAZING hand drawn illustrations of everything. cost me like three bucks only!

in an unforseen turn of events, the stitches I'm picking up at the higher end of the heel are offset and I don't know how to fix this. I'm going insane.

it's fascinating. i grew up without any notion at all that i could be another gender than the one i was assigned at birth. i struggled so much with meeting the unwritten requirements, and i never felt happy.
now that i'm not a girl anymore, i care so much less about that.
