🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈 Inclusive, contemplative, socially engaged and creative church community in Bristol, UK. Informal, radical & explorative, seeking justice and peace for people and planet. Inspired by @Greenbelt.festival. Sunday 7pm, Cotham Parish Church.
It's jarring trying to sing carols merrily while wincing at some of the word choices.

So this year we belted out adapted versions of Tallessyn Z. Grenfell-Lee's 'inclusive carols' - revisions of old favourites for a wince-free service!

Feel free to use them 😇 #InclusiveCarols

@hazelnutcommunity.bsky.social This sounds very much like what we're doing...
When people ask me: "What can I do as an individual about the climate?" I reply: "Don’t be an individual - work together with others."

"As we approach the vote on assisted dying this week, I’ve been struck by how arguments in favour have held to very white, Western concepts of what it is to be human."

Got a few things off my chest about race and #AssistedDying

Inclusive Church affirms trans and non-binary identities.
We hope this will be news to no one. We have always believed that our trans and enby siblings are entirely belovèd of God, and we continue to believe so!

It's hard to apply for jobs when you don't have enough money to buy food.

A new approach to employment support is long overdue. Today's announcements are a positive step forward.

BUT the government’s new plan for employment support can only work if they also invest in our social security system.
