I gave it a good go, I really did, but in the end Docker Desktop on macOS was riddled with issues… in comes Colima, a single issue, that I was actually able to resolve.

Been working to switch my personal site to a nice Lanyon themed Jekyll site on GitHub pages, then out of nowhere today I found the Blowfish theme for Hugo… on top of it, this little app was specially built for Jekyll… what to do what to do 😅

The upcoming, now postponed, changes to GitHub Runners have me thinking that my syndication should happen in app, and not in a GitHub Action 🧐

Just noticed that Proxmox v9.1.1 shows the IPs for each LXC container 🙌🏽

Upgraded my Ubiquiti Express to the Express 7 on the Homelab, a little more challenging than expected, mostly due to AT&T… but all is well now 🙌🏽

Interesting… I think it wasn’t gdebi, it was the buildkit container Apple is using as a helper, either way it works now 🙌🏽 #WWDC

Got RStudio Server running on a macOS container using a Dockerfile on macOS 18.5… only one minor thing to iron out with gdebi, but otherwise epic 🙌🏽 #WWDC

This week I finally listened to I, Robot… I was not ready for how different it was from the movie. Like, it was not even close. I love the movie, but the book was also very very good.

I checked the Mac (Designed for iPhone) box in Xcode… this little app looks super weird, yet very functional, might invest a little bit of time making sure it looks good on Apple Silicon Macs too.

All I want is for my UI to stay in place, but the keyboard just moves it… even when I tell it to ignore the keyboard, but not good enough at SwiftUI to see the issue yet 😑

I think the most frustrating part of SwiftUI is knowing what you wanna do, getting it mocked up, and accidentally putting a line in the wrong place… the hierarchy makes it hard to think sometimes, but the whole iterating process is pretty fast and simple.

To me, LLMs are just tools to use, not sure how you can replace people with them. The one thing that keeps coming to mind is when asking a coding question, how it sometimes tries to brute force answers. If you correct it, the LLM evaluates your statement, and either apologizes or doubles down…

The app and the GitHub action seem to not hate each other anymore… hopefully, so now can focus on UI improvements.

GitHub action is more robust… time to test this app again 😅

Turns out the micro app improvements did not work, but did add a logic to the action to prevent madness in the future 😅

GitHub action works nicely, while this little app I’m using lets me create a markdown file, which I can push directly to my repo’s _micro folder 🙌🏽

Testing a new way to post, if all goes well, this will be epic! 🙌🏽

I think the JSON issue should be resolved... cause it wasn't JSON at all... but corrected a few things in the GitHub action. One last attempt today! 🤞🏽

Little JSON misconfiguration has Micro.blog angry at the GitHub action flow, but hopefully this one will fix it... Hopefully!

Fixed Bluesky, it was definitely the user name being wrong, but now to tackle Micro.blog... once this is ready, I think I can call it for this phase.

GitHub action is functional! Made it to Mastodon, one down, two to go! I think Bluesky is a username issue... need to remember that Bluesky uses fossilizedcarlos.bsky.social as the username.
