been feeling burnout creeping in this last couple days, so i'm using it as an excuse to spend time working on the new island.
so far, the only area that's done and waiting on furniture is center square (shopping area) and the farm behind it, as well as a single villager house in the bottom right.

weird thing just happened? Got a random free brush set for procreate that's dated saying i ordered it tomorrow (the 2nd), and it was sent to an email that i dont have linked to my gumroad, AND i dont use procreate.

starting in 2026 im dropping tumblr as an upload place again. the amount of bots i see compared to actual engagement from humans is incredibly frustrating. most posts i make are ONLY interacted with by spam bots.

while i put out a lot less this year, the quality of what i have made is awesome imo. usually i can only manage one big piece a year, and this year i did 3 (a lot more if you count the panels in the comic pages ive done so far lol).
