Old forts, cool cars, Sci-Fi & Fantasy, Drums, Guitars, Synths & Gear, CAD, Apollo/Skylab, and too much crap cluttering my room.

For timeline traffic management, I may or may not follow back. Nothing personal!

True every year: screw "black friday" in all its forms and hype.
Seriously?
One week to the day after I needed it and insurance declined, the dumbass pharmacy has Tramadol ready.

Dumbasses. Staples come out in a week, aspirin is still working, and tramadol is still not covered!

Forts!!
Well, Ft. Pickens Road, which was cut in several places by Hurricane Ivan's surge in 2004. In Nov. 2006, I did a hike & bike trip to the utterly abandoned National Park and its fort. No other people--hell, no birds!--for miles around. Deafening silence you could feel in your ears. /1

So, this is wild:

In 2015, the podcast Invisibilia featured a woman with a very unusual condition.

Whenever Amanda (not her real name) sees someone else experiencing something - sneezing, getting stung by a wasp, eating chocolate - she physically echoes a version of what they’re feeling.

Rocks!
My laptop changes lock screen backgrounds every few days. Tonight, I realized that I can hit PrtSc for a screenshot--and that's after 3 years not knowing this. :/
So--here's Colinas Canyon in Angola. I can imagine busy little Jawas scouring the sands and rocks, looking for useful scraps....

This is good news. The ICE agent is arrested on state charges, so the Convicted FElon & the Regime can't do anything to stop this. They can try but it will be illegal.

She's not fit to scrub the latrines, let alone darken the doorways of our tents.
I will gladly watch her flail at her own party as they flail at her. I will HUZZAHHH!! when one or the other connects...but there's no way she comes into our camp without being immediately evicted, Big Tents or not.
Raskin: We are a big tent. We must be a huge, vast tent. I say this is a party that’s got room for Marjorie Taylor Greene if she wants to come over.
