Half unrelated but kind of related I booted up my wii u again (my color splash is still broken) and wow. Inside drift is way different in the og mk8. it's actually kind of... MORE fun to play inside drift in mk8 over mk8d because I play it to take sharper turns and in mk8d it can't do that very well
I love playing mariokart on one of Those Days because I'll be frontrunning spectacularly then think some shit like "do you think iggy would be a masochist" and it throws me off so bad I drift the wrong way (inside drift main) and completely fuck myself at the end of a race so I lose horrendously
