I have such mixed feelings about joining the Twitter mass exodus
It has become a mean and vile place of hatred and suppression
But it has been a huge part of my life story over the last 4 years

I don't get many people reading my posts, but I'm thinking about writing a thread about what a mess US immigration is and was even before trump. I think as Americans we have little understanding of what travel can be like for people just because of the country they are from. We have such privilege

I spend so much time hoping and praying
Hoping I will have enough to pay at least the minimum for all my bills and also keep my family fed and warm

I keep hearing questions about why 6 democrats felt the need to remind service members of their oath and responsibilities. Maybe they thought the American people needed to be reminded that the president is neither king nor legislator
