Bit of a fun account, like being a dons nuff, over analysing stuff. Probably a bit of cricket too, who knows. The worlds my oyster (it’s not)

Fantastic work on your latest video mate, in particular with Cox, your discussion around concussion was great, a lot of people don’t understand how much easier it is to get concussed after a concussion, and for ridiculous reasons. Well done

Controversial opinion, but I’d be happy to see Langford moved up the ground.
Tom Edwards plays a similar style to Langford. We can cover him, and I think people have forgotten just how good Langford was on the wing.
Langford was/is an exceptional kick going inside 50. Could be something

Looks like Tom Edwards made it an easy choice for Rosa and co.

Hope Baldwin stays on with our VFL, deserves another crack if he can prove his body is up to it. Worked tirelessly to get into this position, hoping for his sake his body repays him.

I’ve always hated the “replace 40 goals argument”, but from Saturday its obvious to see how you can using the same line of thought.
Caddy kicks 30 (+21)
Kako 15 (+15)
Perkins 20 (+15)
That’s 51. There’s the answer they all want

I’ve got huge props for the way Essendon has developed Elijah, and himself for his attitude. From school footy, his biggest knock was his kicking, but a bit of young bloke arrogance meant he didn’t care. Clearly had a rude shock coming into the system.
His attitude has clearly changed for the better
Two pre-seasons now where Elijah Tsatas has consistently completed extra sessions to work on his game. There are really good signs that the hard work is starting to produce results.
Real games will truly tell but he has given himself every chance to succeed through his attitude

Interesting chat from Simon Black on Brian (and Harrison) Taylor’s podcast.
They’re pretty hard on the kids these days that don’t want to move interstate and act like it’s a new issue.
Looks like it’s always happened

One thing that I’ve seen heaps now that just proves more that people don’t understand the role of the board is people saying let’s “see what he can do”. That’s the problem, boards are for governance, he’s not actively in there doing things like he would be in a footy ops role. Like people think

I think it is ridiculous that Paul Weston received more votes than Melissa Verner-Green. I won’t say what I really think it shows about our supporter base, but I will say it shows people haven’t done good research nor understand the role of a board
December 17, 2024 at 8:03 AM
I have a genuine question for those planning to vote in Weston, that I actually want answered.

What actions has he proposed with his statements? And what actions do you expect from him if he is voted in?
December 2, 2024 at 12:42 AM
The Paul Weston situation seems very planted. Even my Dad (a Richmond supporter) asked my thoughts, so even he’s seeing articles on it.

Some points he makes might be right, but it’s been 2 years… if it’s still the same after Scott’s tenure, then sure, I’d consider it. Right now, we need stability

Interested in knowing the main knock on Zak Johnson? Been watching videos of him and can’t figure out why he went so late. Fantastic kick, makes decisions quick, is fast and evasive.

Apparently, we were only drafting 4, looks like we were surprised he was still available. Like Roberts last year
November 25, 2024 at 9:24 AM
Wait sorry, I was at a wedding today, did we pick up Day-wicks as a rookie? Great pick, especially as a rookie
November 22, 2024 at 1:39 PM
Looking to the future now.
If the ladder finished the exact same as this year the picks we’d start with next year are: 5, 8, 25, 26.
Great hand and great potential to get into the top end considering academy picks
November 21, 2024 at 9:59 PM
Day-Wick and Josh Murphy are two I’d like to take a punt on as Rookies. I think other clubs might think the same
November 21, 2024 at 11:11 AM
Worth noting Johnson is a parade boy, so played with both Kako and Caddy
November 21, 2024 at 11:07 AM
Oh dons spring a surprise with Zak Johnson, taking 5 players instead of 4. Must have really rated him
November 21, 2024 at 10:56 AM
Day-Wicks still on the board, surely someone takes a punt late
November 21, 2024 at 10:42 AM
So we’ve taken our 4, as expected. But the minimum senior list sizes are 36, and my calculations have us at 35, unless I’ve got that wrong?
My understanding is SSPs are Rookies also. So what am I missing? I know I am genuinely missing something
November 21, 2024 at 10:35 AM
Even though the new DVI is meant to make a team pay fair value for a high pick, I think the best part about it is taking points off picks this late in the draft. Ridiculous that you can’t just match with your next pick at picks like 58
November 21, 2024 at 10:09 AM
Considering the depth of this draft, there will be some good players left over. Either for the rookie draft or SSP. Still think there’s another 20-odd picks though
November 21, 2024 at 9:27 AM
Ah damn, I was excited for that pick. I like having multiple F2s next year though given the academies
November 21, 2024 at 9:21 AM
Dons one more pick (I’m assuming) I would think we’d go with another forward/running type.
Gross, Davis?
November 21, 2024 at 9:01 AM
Port done real well imo. Joe Berry is a star, Whitlock will be solid at worst, and Moraes could be so exciting as a Gen fwd
November 21, 2024 at 8:56 AM
There we go, I know a few on here wanted him!
November 21, 2024 at 8:53 AM
Rosa on the phone, surely not listening to a trade?
