Brilliant to see Cho Gue-Sung back in the squad. He’s been out over a season but was electric the season before. If he can recapture that form it’s genuinely like a new signing for FCM.

FC Midtjylland win comfortably, 3-1 in Norway and they’re in the driving seat to qualify for the next round of the Europa League qualifiers. Goals from Franculino, Castillo and stand out performer Mikel Gogorza.

I’ll be amazed if Walle Egeli, Osorio & Franculino are still in the Superliga in a month’s time. The question is do we also see moves for Høgsberg, Simsir, Bischoff & Nartey or are those for January / next summer?

Great opener in the 2025-26 Superliga season. Few thoughts:
- Jeppe Grønning imperious, goal & assist, full of energy
- Kits clashed with the amount of white in the VFF kit & FCK playing in white. Why have 3 kits if you don’t use them?
- FCK pen, had MM lost control of the ball?

Nathan Trott has gone from 1st choice GK to seemingly 4th/5th choice(!) and heading for the exit. Superb at Vejle, less convincing in the capital, I wonder whether there’s another chapter of his Danish story still to be written.

Ibrahim Osman moving to Auxerre.
He started only 6 Eredivisie games whilst on loan last season, now loaned again this time with a buy option which tells me Brighton don’t mind losing him.
It does make me think what another season at FCN might have done for developing his enormous talent.

€8m for a player of Kvistgaarden’s quality is a bit of a shambles I can’t lie. No idea why Brøndby are unable to get the kind of fees FCN/FCK/FCM regularly command for their top talents.

Mat Ryan looks like he could be heading back to FCK as a free agent. Personally think it would be a great move - people may disagree but I think he’s been the best FCK goalkeeper of the past 5 years. At 33 still in his peak years.

I guess at €2.5m it’s a largely risk free gamble for Barça but I’d love to know the playing pathway they’ve outlined for him.
