There’s not a lot to it; Midas has the same first initial as my real name and I, like King Midas, am quite foolish sometimes.

I wanted to create a group name that represented all 3 of the major western Tokusatsu fandoms. The “Toku” is a nod to the Japanese origins of the franchise, the Henshin Hero and Kaiju shows we now love. The Power is a nod to the Power Rangers franchise and the “AmeriToku”…
