despite all the harms it causes, over 500 cetaceans (whales, dolphins, and porpoises) remain in captivity in the US...FoA has filed a lawsuit to help protect them and those that should remain wild. read more here: friendsofanimals.org/cetaceans/

The post-halloween pumpkin crisis is real. Skip the dump! Instead:
Scoop out the insides and roast the seeds
Call your local sanctuary and see if they will take the pumpkins to use as food or enrichment
Toss them in a wooded area
Place them in your personal or city compost
