Why do polls talk of “how people feel” about a topic. Feelings are not rational thought. My thoughts about Venezuela are that it was illegal and those responsible should be prosecuted. My feelings are anger that those who represent us fail in their duties to enforce the constitution. Difference?

Lots of national security reasons for our misbehavior, yet I have seen none matching the threat to us all by TACO and associates. It seems we are the threat to everyone. One report has us attacking 8 different locations without any real threat to us. Some day someone will shoot back.

Is there some wild assumption that America was unsafe in regards to Venezuela? How are we safer now? People are still dying from drugs. I’ve seen no figures to the contrary. The real threat to our security is the wreck less behavior of our government.

To those who keep yammering about flight delays and cancellations remember every one of them helped guarantee the lives of those aboard. Flying in bad weather is dangerous. Weather kills aircraft more than any other cause. The next would be poor pilot decisions regarding weather.
