I'm not a fan of Dune. I don't like the writing style, I don't like the misogyny: a group of powerful space witches conspired for thousands of years to... wait for it, have a MALE savior. I don't like the colonization apologist rhetoric or the "white men save, white men destroy" subtle racism. 1/

I see a lot of posts that are like, "OMG, I can't believe you eat that many eggs that it literally impacts your budget. I eat like 3 eggs every 4 years! I just let them expire in my fridge because I always dine out." Are millennials started to become the new boomers?

I read somewhere that the reason horror stories often feature female ghosts more than male ghosts is that men can have revenge while they are alive, and women have to wait until they're dead, which is also why female ghosts are scarier because now they can do what men do.

The most disappointing and horrifying aspect of the past two weeks is how powerless we are. Rules without consequences are not rules; they aren't real. If there's no check or balance, a president is a dictator.
