Something floated down and burnt me on the chin. It really bloody hurts! Presumably firework related. Ouch.

Oh my god it drives me disproportionately furious that nutritional info for dry ingredients like lentils and pasta is given in the cooked weight. No Sainsbury’s, I am not going to boil some lentils and only then weigh out a portion FFS. Think!

Very much wishing I’d gone and got a booster vaccine… remember that Covid is horrible and even a “mild” infection can wipe you out and lasts for ages. I wish I’d protected myself more.

Why is it when banking is all automated and digital that we have to pretend that transactions can’t process evenings and weekends..? There’s no human involved here.

Why is everything on 5 mins late on the BBC tonight? It’s so discombobulating. Like the people that set their meetings to start 5 mins late or end 5 mins early, confusing absolutely everyone. Did the 10 o’clock news people decide they needed a 5 min loo break before the main event?

Lisbon airport delivered such a terrifyingly awful experience I think it’ll put me off visiting the city again.

I’m totally pro pedestrianising Oxford St — makes complete sense. But what’s going on there today… well I hope that won’t be repeated. With the rd closed, you’d think more room to move around. Nope. Large barriers everywhere make it still extremely narrow and bottle necked. And oh my god so LOUD.

Hate it when Eastenders is not on iPlayer - requiring it to be viewed at an inconvenient time isn’t a special treat 🤷🏻‍♀️

Why are people selfish numpties because of their phones? No headphones on public transport… staring fixedly at phone while walking along and looking expecting other people to get out of their way. It happens so much… I think the majority of people are staring at their phone while walking… stop it.

I think Paramount’s business model is to have literally one watchable show at a time.

@gwr.com I am trying to register for delay repay but your website isn’t letting me - I think there’s an IT issue with it? I’ve tried on Chrome and Safari - neither seem to work

Still being emailed by @royalparkshalf.bsky.social suggesting I run for charity. I’d love to participate - but not for charity. I don’t expect friends and colleagues to subsidise my hobby. Fact that there’s still charity places suggests balance is wrong on pay to run v charity places.

So the national continues to be the only uk newspaper standing up to jk.

I assume that every word of this and yesterdays front page story (yes, it was front page of the print edition) will have been checked by lawyers. This is what every newspaper could say but refuses to out of fear

Think I’m going to have to revert to a DAB digital radio instead of BBC Sounds App since it’s now so difficult to make it function… don’t want to have to faff around my VPN to listen to the radio. Ah progress…

Are the trains going past Albert Square real? I know they have their own pretend tube stop but do they also have their own Eastenders train?
