While searching for one of the Chaos Emeralds in Bridlewood, Rainbow Dash became fed up with the alien hedgehog's casual bragging. She challenged the so-called "fastest thing alive" to a fight. Despite their friends protesting the conflict, Sonic accepted the challenge, eager to see how well the rainbow-maned mare could keep up. There wasn't much the others could do as the two rocketed off, clashing against each other to determine if they were as fast as they claimed to be.
