The acquired health condition called Chemical Injury (also known as Chemical Intolerance of Chemical Sensitivity) occurs when the body has become poisoned by a daily exposure to toxic chemical mixtures.

Please see the article: Dose-Response Relationship
www.hrni.ca/info-doseres...
Dose Response Relationship | HRNI Clinical Toxicologists
Clinical toxicologists follow the principle: the dose makes the poison. The greater the toxic chemical exposure (dose) an individual has, the greater their response to the poison will be.

Oh my word. Uh, if you're looking for clinical work, I'd mention our paper: www.mayoclinicproceedings.org/article/S002....

But if you're looking for original research only, I don't think the ME story is complete without the Hornig 2015 paper about early vs later disease.
Diagnosis and Management of Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
Myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS) is a chronic neurologic disease often preceded by infection. There has been increased interest in ME/CFS recently because of its significant...

The ME stands for Myalgic Encephalomyelitis. It isn't just "fatigue" the way most think it means. In healthy mitochondria (power house of each cell w/ the exception of mature erythrocytes), ATP is constantly being made. With mitochondrial dysfunction (as in MECFS), it takes 1 to 4 days to replenish.

The quality of life of patients w/ ME/CFS is one of the lowest of all diseases. Meanwhile experts of disability and health insurers decide that we’re able to work if we overcome our fears and try harder.
