Everytime I need to upload or save a file (e.g. from the print dialogue) the 'fileprovider' process just drives crazy and it won't let me. I need to restart my Mac basically every time.

Making use of local Apple Intelligence models in @drafts@indieapps.space is fun 🤗 Built a custom action that can processes feedback I get into individual tasks and then adds them to #Todoist by using a function from Draftist 🙌🏽

I tried to learn developing Apps on & off for years. Now I'm finally at a point that I want to publish something and looking for a few people willing to provide some initial feedback. The app lets you look back on photos you took on the same date in the past.

Working with Finder in macOS Tahoe is just a mess. Deleting, moving, renaming files, everything takes minutes or is just impossible.

*macOS Tahoe rant I don't know what Apple has done but working with Finder and iCloud Drive is such a mess right now 🤬

macOS Tahoe has been the worst major update for me in years. iCloud Drive is stuck in Waiting to Update and this causes many Apps to break since I rely on iCloud for Syncing. I can't preview / sort files, I can't use DEVONthink properly since it will become unresponsive after a few moments.

After a few months with a lot of work, not much time for fun projects and prioritizing family, voluntary work, and our renovation, one week ago we were finally able to move into our new home 🏠 There are still many open todos, but we made a big step forward 😊

If you (have to) use MS Teams go into Settings > Calls > Choose a ringtone and change it to "Remix" you'll start your next 10 calls you receive with a smile - I promise 😀

Just got a confirmation that a feature was built into Calendars by Readdle (duplicating events) - impressed that they contacted me afterbirth was shipped since the request was from Dec 2023 😝
