Almost time to join friends and colleagues in Bologna for the #EISAPEC2025  – without hiding that this is truly my favorite conference of the year!

I’ll be presenting some of my work on visual tropes in the narratives of #COVID19 and on #Russia’s promotion of #cyber norms.

If you find yourself complaining about how stressful the #publication process in #academia is, and how long you have to wait for reviews of your articles, a good solution would be to accept invitations to review articles yourself (and providing constructive feedback, but that's another story). 1/

Coming back home after a very enjoyable and productive 48hrs of discussions at #EUAI, where I presented our work on EU normative approaches to AI. It was good to see friends & colleagues, to meet new ones, and even enjoyed the (not always, but still...) sunny days in Brussels. Great organization!

I keep looking at all this as if it were a sci-fi movie. It’s not the poverty and aggressiveness of language that strikes me, and only partially is the content of what they say. I'm worried about what they're not saying, the world they want create. I am quite sure that this is only the beginning.
Here's Marjorie Taylor Greene literally telling a British reporter to "go back to your country" and berating her for trying to ask a question.
