I completely forgot I was wearing my hood when entering my building on the way back from a walk. One of my neighbours exited the lift to get out, as I was about to get in. She noticed Percival then realised it was me 😂

I am experiencing the decoupling of identity from survival strategies. What once kept me safe no longer defines who I am. A self is emerging that does not need constant attachment to exist. This is not loss, it is integration.
