Growing luffa sponge gourds. Luffa sponges don’t come from the ocean. They are a kind of fibrous, vining plant. You can grow yr own. Each vine likes about 20’ of space.

I grow pumpkins and squash as a base for the dog food I make, to feed my pack of 5. I’ll can the pumpkin and store the Tromboncini squash in the basement until I need it.

These gorgeous zinnias from my garden will become zinnia garland for Christmas time.
First time trying this. I am drying some zinnias in silica and some I have hung to dry.

Pumpkin plants are so pretty, especially this version called Musque du Provence. I often grow them far from my food plot to trick the squash vine borers. This beauty is growing on the side of my front porch, and is growing a very pretty pumpkin.
