Suburban mom with a penchant for quick wit that punches up. I am very nice until I am not. Sarcastic and punchy with words. I like hiking and crafts. Nothing I say here has to do with or is endorsed by my employer.

Parents, you can keep your kids home if you feel they should be home. I promise the school board won't come after you.

Nobody tells you at career fairs that when you have an extremely niche expertise in your job, you have no "elevator pitch" when people ask you what your job is. I'm working on it but it's hard!

Biggest childhood scam: we were promised that evil villains are cool, well dressed and smart. Reality: they're losers with no ability to read or type that cosplay as jars of mouldy mayonnaise. The only thing they have in common is their evil lairs have trap doors.

I think a lot about relationships and friendships, and how I act/react. Wondering: what are your friendship red flags? New friends and established...what would make you pause and reconsider things.

I think protein additives and stevia need to be outlawed. We don't need protein gummies. Some wildness diet culture at work.

I'm so glad my monthly Costco order is sitting in my fridge and freezer with no power. That $350 is staying cool on ice. Right???

I started swimming 4x a week in November. I now have a swimming buddy who is approx 70 years old and is an incredible swimmer. Don't know her name, we know each other through nods and small hand motions as we pass. We share a lane most times. She really likes my training fins 🥰

Being with a 6 year old since Dec 23, essentially touching me or talking at me 24 hours a day....I love this child, I'd lay in front of a speeding bus for him, but please, please go back to school 😭😭😭

Sometimes if I have no clean socks, I'll steal my husband's and gaslight him in to believing I have CAT machinery work socks. He humours me because the heel is half way up my calf.

Yo @mcuban.bsky.social could single handedly keep many children from dying or financial ruin simply by buying and dispersing insulin-there's many orgs to help, but he'd rather argue about why it's so hard to treat poors like humans (and still be dodging taxes and filthy rich).
