i knew someone that wrote lyrics and shoved them into an ai to "make music". they said they wanted to be a musician. i tried to encourage them to learn how to play an instrument or use a daw and they said "well i think my time is valuable and i don't wanna waste it"
just had the realization that the type of person who enjoys making ai art is someone who prioritizes it’s consumption, while those who dislikes ai art is someone who values the act of creating art

i do need to remind myself if a bad thing happens now it's not indicative of some horrible cosmic curse or whatever. sometimes bad things happen, sometimes they happen a lot of times in a row. sometimes this is true for good things too
