Take a look at the beautiful scenery and wildlife at our new location with Dara Mcanulty ❄️ 😍 A naturalist who grew up in the area, Dara knows NT Mount Stewart inside out and loves nothing more than to come here to take in its sights and sounds!

Today is the Eve of St Agnes 💙

How better to celebrate than revisiting one of Harry Clarke’s strikingly blue watercolour studies that he made in preparation for his The Eve of St. Agnes Window (1924), inspired by John Keats’ poem.

One of North America's greatest writers of poetry and short stories was born on this day in 1809.

This daguerreotype of Edgar Allan Poe was made months before his death at age 40. Few daguerreotypes of notable poets, novelists, or painters have survived from the 1840s.

Continuing our snowy vibes for Jan, today we’re sharing this vibrant work by #irishartist Ronald Ossory Dunlop. In contrast to some of the more monochromatic snowscapes we’ve shared, this work reminds us of all the beautiful colours that can be found in winter.
