Looking at this convenient list of inductees by year, those first few years were all 100% no brainer HOF guys. But at some point the bar slipped a little lower. What year do you think it was that the IBHOF started to jump the shark a little?

After watching the November 30, 1979 ABC primetime triple header, I'm revisiting Aris and Pat's talk about this card from about a year ago.
At the top of ABC's primetime triple header on November 30, 1979, they went back to Las Vegas for the main event, which saw Sugar Ray Leonard challenging WBC welterweight champion Wilfred Benitez. Howard Cosell was again at ringside.
