I will repeat this until the day I die: OPTIONAL CONTENT IS *OPTIONAL*! Don't get me wrong, I think there are bad fishing minigames, but a minigame is optional content, you don't need to play it if you don't like it.

I know these games get a lot of hate because of how they ran at launch but they're my favourite Pokémon games of all time. Best dex, best story, has some of my all time favourite characters and Pokémon (Rika and Clodsire are my absolutely number ones). I love them a lot.
