A ★★★½ review of Relay (2024)
The very definition of a slow-burn thriller but perhaps too slow of a burn for some of the audience. The less said about the plot of this movie, the better. The writing and direction is tight enough t...

NO ONE CARES ABOUT DINOSAURS!

The studio has heard you and tried to address the complaints of the last Jurassic World films. Some areas have definitely improved but the old tropes still diminish what many are hoping could be a return to form.

Our @letterboxd.social review. #filmsky
A ★★★ review of Jurassic World Rebirth (2025)
NO ONE CARES ABOUT DINOSAURS! That's the meta metaphor given after the Alien-esque cold open in Rebirth. The modern world is over the fad of these mammoth food chain disruptors (unless the dino is cut...

I don't remember much of it and it probably wasn't a great movie, but how can you pass up something called "John Dies At The End"?

I believe based on a book by the same title. THat's an attention grabber if ever there was one

Our review of BRIDE HARD - a film made for streaming that trips and falls into theaters.
A ★½ review of Bride Hard (2025)

A beautiful comfort created by two bedrocks of horror - our @letterboxd.social review of The Life of Chuck.

A ★★★★ review of The Life of Chuck (2024)
There will be people confused by this movie. The Life of Chuck comes from two bedrocks of horror - Stephen King and Mike Flanagan (who after Midnight Mass, The Fall of the House of Usher, House on Hau...

Fans of TALK TO ME and HEREDITY should relish the Philippou brother's sophomore film. Our Letterboxd review.
A ★★★★½ review of Bring Her Back (2025)
The sophomore film by the Philippou brothers builds upon their first film, Talk to Me, and improves upon it in nearly every way. It is rooted in the same style, beautifully shot, and superbly acted wi...

On episode 2 of Netflix's ZERO HOUR and so far this is a show where Robert De Niro, who plays the former President, stares intensely at things.

How does someone get to be *age redacted* years old and never have seen PREDATOR?

Robyn has never seen it. Crazy.

Remedying this oversight tonight.🎬

Zangief from Street Fighter 2 where he’s not mischaracterized as a villain like he was in WRECK IT RALPH.
Considering both Mario and Sonic first appeared in #arcade games, what other arcade characters need the film treatment?📽️🎬

My most anticipated movie of 2025 would be TRON: ARES if Jared Leto wasn't involved.

I didn't watch a lot of bad movies in 2024 but these were the worst:

🤢REBEL MOON - PART 2: THE SCARGIVER
🤡BORDERLANDS
⛸️ARGYLLE

Dishonorable mentions (movies I haven't seen yet but would maybe make the list): MEGALOPOLIS, MADAME WEB, and JOKER: FOLIE A DEUX. #filmsky #movies 📽️🎬
