I chose not to finish 50+ books last year, none of which I paid money for, and I honestly love that for me.

It's been fascinating to watch the wave of book influencers who have spent years hyping up all the expensive special/exclusive editions they're buying and prominently displaying them now posting videos decrying them and complaining about how flooded the market is with them now.

I've seen some truly unhinged readalike suggestions for Fourth Wing, though nothing still as left field as the time someone told me with a straight face that a good readalike for Kuang's Babel was Atlas Shrugged.

Clutching my thermos of iced tea on the train station platform in 8°F weather is a choice I will continue to make against my own best interests. It is colder here than in Antarctica currently, which is definitely not upsetting.
